Which is more useful? engineering drawing or computer A level for an engineering course at university? - computer drawing

I'm about to start and 6, so I'm not sure if the problem is mainly in engineering courses. Should I drawing technique [technical drawing] or computer?

Depends on what you do and what is contained in A-levels today. I was an engineer for 10 years. I began as a mechanical engineer in an automotive factory after college and am now a consultant, specializing in noise and vibration. I can honestly say I have not made a technical drawing by hand from the university. The possibility of a computer program to write macros in Excel, etc. was much better for me than drawing.

If you learn to CAD engineering course, then it would be useful, first as an engineer for a mediocre team, a level that will give a good knowledge of computer programming. When you learn a computer program at their level, then do it because it is a skill that takes much longer to master the use of CAD. CAD can pick up at the University at any time.

If the design is really a kind of construction technique, as taught when I went to the Kingdom (with pencil and paper), it would be better to use the baskets for all those!

While mathematics and physics does not really count, but I did not teach the course as a team, drawing class, what you do not learn from itself, and most engineering courses need to study software engineering introductory price.

The design is probably more fun than LEARING structure database or something to be what is seems to have learned from my experience of friends over time.

Both offer an additional advantage in the course of engineering. But they are a way to teach these subjects in the art. not a technical perspective, the teams would be an advantage, even if you do not choose engineering

I think it is better to have some technical, computer courses are nothing and can learn from his friend ...
