The color is always black permanent marker out of the shadows or ghosts still left behind ... What chemical solvent is required to completely remove the shadow ???...

Ethanol 100% safe for you, not the highlight of the place that has cooked for the existence of high temperatures. Acetone better, but could melt the plastic, so you might want to check to see if you can manage acetone.
